When we were thinking of names, we aimed for something that reflected our work and highlighted our Nepali roots. As web technology specialists, we decided on Makura, which directly translates to Spider in English. Spiders are known for their hard work, and since we also value industriousness, the name felt like a fitting choice

What originally began as a shared aspiration among 10 friends during their high school years to establish a learning platform evolved into an entrepreneurial venture that would revolutionize IT solutions in Nepal and beyond.
The journey, however, was far from smooth. Eight of the original group members withdrew from the project, leaving only two guys determined to carry forward their vision and push for technological advancements in Nepal.
Starting small, similar to Google’s beginnings in a garage, we went from nurturing our idea as a hobby to building it into a modest enterprise before eventually growing it into the successful operation we see today.
